ANS Newsletter (Fall 1999): Bullowa Conference

The fifth annual David M. Bullowa Conference, devoted to presentations of returning Graduate Seminar alumni, will be held at the museum on Audobon Terrace on Saturday, January 15, 2000, at 3:00 P.M. This will be the tenth year that the Society’s January meeting is focused on such presentations.

Featured this year will be Martin Beckmann of McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, speaking on "Trajan’s Early COS VI Gold"; Tiffany J. Grade of the University of Notre Dame, who will discuss "The Monetary Reforms of Henry V in France"; and Mark Metzler of Utica College, Schenectady, NY, who will talk about "A Currency Revolution in Late Eighteenth-Century Japan." The meeting will be followed by a reception.
